Please do not save printed copies of these instructions.  They are subject to change as and when required to suit the needs of the syndicate.

If you are a new transcriber please read this first. Experienced transcribers may find this a useful reminder

    Note that some scans are duplicates. It you find any of these ignore the second one listed and let me know so that I can make a note of it in my database.

      Please note: Pre 1938 scans must use the SpeedBMD Filename format. Post 1937 scans must use the WinBMD Filename format; This means that the SpeedBMD program cannot be used for these scans.
