This list provides details of places of access, in England, to the Microfiche Indexes issued by the Office of Population, Censuses & Surveys. The originals are held at The Family Records Centre, 1 Mydlleton St, Islington, London EC1R 1UW. Generally the records held cover births, marriages and deaths starting at 1837 the first year of official registration. Some centres do not cover the full range. In most cases if you wish to visit one of the centres you should ring to check availability of the records that interest you and to book a Microfiche reader.
